Description
Postdoctoral investigators are being recruited to projects studying:
1. the relationship between cell cycle regulation and neuronal differentiation
2. the regulation of cytoskeletal dynamics in neuronal migration and synaptogenesis.
Experience in immunohistochemistry and neuroanatomy, molecularneurobiology, biochemistry, cell biology and/or behavior are alldesirable, but strength in at least one of these areas is essential. Allprojects in the lab use mouse models.
Recent titles relevant to these projects include:
Kholmanskikh SS, Koeller HB, Wynshaw-Boris A, Gomez T, Letourneau PC,Ross ME (2006) Calcium-dependent interaction of Lis1 with IQGAP1 andCdc42 promotes neuronal motility. Nat Neurosci 9:50-57.
Glickstein SB, Alexander S, Ross ME (2007) Differences in cyclin d2 andd1 protein expression distinguish forebrain progenitor subsets. CerebCortex 17:632-642.
