Description
Cell Biology and/or Immunology – The Monell Chemical Senses Center
The Monell Chemical Senses Center is seeking a full-time faculty memberwith expertise in cell biology and/or immunology and an interest inconducting research on the impact of nasal inflammation on neuronalfunction or neuronal degeneration or regeneration. Applicants mustpossess a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. Postdoctoral experience is preferred,but prior experience in chemosensory research is not required. Bothjunior- and senior-level applicants are welcome.
The successful candidate will be expected to assume responsibility foran established research project and, in the future, to develop a strong,independently funded research program, while also taking advantage ofthe interdisciplinary and collaborative environment offered by theMonell Center, the world's premier institute devoted tomultidisciplinary research on the mechanisms and function of thechemical senses.
