The newly established Cardiovascular Molecular Genetics Laboratory atthe University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is actively seeking apost-doctoral fellow to support the molecular genetic laboratory work ofthe familial dilated cardiomyopathy research project. Backgroundinformation regarding the project is available at www.fdc.to.
A PhD or MD with research expertise and skills in statistical geneticsand/or genetic epidemiology, including genetic linkage, associationstudies, disease gene mapping, or other statistical genetics approachesis mandatory.
Working knowledge and skills with a variety of statistics andstatistical genetics programs is desired. CITI certification within 30days of employment is required. An appropriate combination of relevanteducation, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
