Postdoctoral Fellow – Cell & Molecular Biology, Biochemistry Position
The High-Throughput Screening (HTS) Core at City of Hope (COH) isseeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join a project onradiation sensitivity/resistance in cancer cells. The individual shouldhave understanding of cellular pathways and mechanisms (e.g. signaltransduction, apoptosis and endocytosis) and have experience inanalyzing cell structure and substructure using fluorescence imaging.
Requirements:
* Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field with 0-2years of PostDoc experience
* Extensive experience working with cultured and primary mammalian cells
* Expertise in molecular and cellular biology, bioassays,immunocytochemistry, digital image acquisition and image analysis
* Experience in live cell imaging and associated data analysismethods is a plus
* Experience in fluorescence activated flow cytometry (FACS) andHTS, high-content screening (HCS) assays is desirable.
