Description

General Summary:
Within a Marie Curie Host Fellowships for the Transfer of Knowledge, the candidate will characterise chemical structure of proteins and develop techniques to determine the isotope compositions of proteins to improve proteomic approaches.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing separation and purification techniques of proteins
2. Responsible for the development of separation, isolation and clean up techniques of proteins from complex sample matrices
3. Protein expression profiling from environmental samples
4. Responsible for development of an HPLC interface connected to an isotope mass spectrometer
5. Investigate, create, and develop new methods and technologies for project advancement
6. Demonstrate ability to work in team-oriented environment
7. Supervise and cross-train scientists PhD students and technicians
8. Speaks and presents at scientific/technical conferences and publish in peer reviewed journals

Full-Time/Regular for 2 years.
