Description
Applications are currently being accepted for a postdoctoral positionfocusing on Cancer Epigenetics in the Eukaryotic TranscriptionalRegulation Group, a component of the Laboratory of MolecularCarcinogenesis at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
Our long term goals are to understand the roles of chromatin structure,histone modification and DNA methylation in transcriptional regulation.We currently focus on the roles of the human Mi-2/NuRD complex inregulation of gene expression in the context of two experimental models:breast cancer progression (Fujita et al., 2003, Cell, vol 113 pp.207-219) and B lymphocyte development and differentiation (Fujita etal., 2004, Cell, vol 119 pp. 75-86).
We employ a variety of experimental approaches including RNAi,microarray expression analysis, mouse genetics, cell biology, and biochemistry.
Candidates should possess a PhD degree (or equivalent), havedemonstrated expertise at biochemistry or molecular biology, and haveless than two years experience as a postdoctoral fellow.
Salary will be commensurate with experience according to NIH guidelines.
