Description
A Postdoctoral fellow position is currently available in the Departmentof Medicine (Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition)at Loyola University Chicago to study molecular mechanisms regulatinggastrointestinal tumorigenic pathways.
The main focus of research will involve characterization of thesignaling pathways in connection to cancer cell proliferation, migrationand apoptosis.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D, with substantial researchexperience, preferably in the field of molecular biology, cell biology,protein-protein interaction, transcriptional regulation, SiRNAtechniques, and signal transduction. Prior experience with animal modelsand proteomics will be considered as advantageous.
