Description
Applications are welcome for a post-doctoral fellowship in the contextof the project ’Reconstruction and systems analysis of the reactionnetworks of reactive oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur species inrepresentative physiological systems’ (PTDC/QUI/70523/2006).
This is a 1-year position with the possibility of merit-based renewalfor an additional year.
Salary and benefits: EU 1,495.00 monthly allowance; personal accidentsinsurance; optional voluntary social security.
The successful candidate must have earned a Ph.D. degree inComputational Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a correlativediscipline by the date of application and should have a strongmathematical background. Previous working experience on a research topicclosely related to the project’s theme, on mathematical modeling ofbiochemical processes or on semi-empirical methods for estimating thereactivity of organic molecules are preferential conditions.
