Department of Microbiology
Postdoctoral scientist positions are available immediately in amultidisciplinary virology laboratory in the Department of Microbiologyat University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. The focus of thelaboratory is to study the molecular mechanisms of papillomavirus-hostinteraction during viral persistent infection. Various projects areavailable, involving studies of chromosome biology, proteomic analysis,and antiviral target identification.
We are seeking creative and highly motivated individuals capable ofexecuting research independently. A strong background in biochemistry,cell biology, or virology is desirable.
