A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in molecular neuroscience isavailable at the University of Massachusetts Medical School to study therole of the survival motor neuron SMN protein in axonal transport. Asecond area of investigation is design of drugs to treat spinal muscularatrophy. Prior training in neuroscience research techniques is essentialand experience in culture of motor neurons is preferred. Applicants mustpossess a PhD degree or equivalent.
