The Departments of Anatomy and Physiology at the University of California San Francisco seek applicants for a joint, tenure-track appointment in Neuroscience. The successful applicant is expected to develop a broad research program with an emphasis on analysis of the nervous system at a molecular, cellular, or neural circuit level. The applicant will become a member of the interdepartmental graduate programs in Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences at UCSF . The applicant is expected to participate in professional and graduate teaching.

Applicants must hold a PhD and/or MD degree, have relevant postdoctoral experience, and a strong record of published research in neuroscience. Although the emphasis will be placed on recruiting an Assistant Professor, outstanding applicants at the Associate Professor or Professor levels may also be considered.
