Postdoctoral positions for 1–2 years (with possibilities for extendedtime) are available in the laboratory of Dr. Martin Bergö at theWallenberg Laboratory, Institute of Medicine, Sahlgrenska Academy. Themain goal of our laboratory is to define the importance of the CAAXprotein processing enzymes in health and in the development andtreatment of diseases, such as cancer, progeria, and inflammation. Ourprimary research tools are mouse models and cell culture in vitrosystems. The positions will be funded by an ERC starting investigator grant.
Qualifications: Talented and motivated scientists (PhD or MD) with abackground in e.g. cell- and molecular biology, protein/biochemistry, orcancer biology are welcome to apply. Experience from work with orproduction of genetically modified mice is valuable. Good Englishcommunication skills (oral and written) are essential.
