Description
A postdoctoral position is available to identify and evaluate candidatebiomarkers for the early detection of breast cancer. This NIH-fundedresearch program utilizes proteomic analysis of clinical samples andmolecular studies in cultured cells to identify candidate biomarkers.Part of this research involves developing and applying a sophisticatedELISA microarray platform for the high-throughput analysis of candidatebiomarkers. The successful applicant will be a highly motivatedindividual with expertise in cancer biology, cell culture, immunologicalreagents and/or protein analysis. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills are required to work in this interdisciplinaryenvironment.
Salary is ~$50K/yr.
