Description
The Leukemia Research Program at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (University of Southern California) represents an interactive group of 21 full-time faculty investigators with shared interest in the molecular biology of acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells. Research areas include i.) genetic instability, ii.) oncogenic signal transduction and iii.) stem cell-derivation of acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells.
A new area of research has recently been initiated to study stem cells in acute lymphoblastic leukemia based on reprogramming of human B cells into induced pluripotent stem cells . We invite applications from motivated postdoctoral scientists with a strong background in molecular cloning and interest in stem cell biology. The position is available immediately. Applications should be sent by E-mail in PDF format and include (1) a personal statement of research and career goals, (2) a CV and publication list and (3) the coordinates of three references.
Inquiries and applications (PDF format only) should be directed by March 15th to Markus Müschen, MD, Director, Leukemia Research Program, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, at mmuschen@chla.usc.edu.
