A post-doctoral position is open beginning on Sept 1, 2008, at NationalPublic Health Institute and FIMM, Biomedicum Research Centre, Helsinki,Finland. The work involves generation and analysis of animal and cellmodels to characterize the function of oxysterol-binding proteinhomologues, novel regulators of lipid metabolism. A strong background inmolecular biology, mouse models, cellular lipid metabolism, and genesilencing technology is beneficial. Grant support is provided initially(1700 EU/month) but later also salary from EU FP7 funds may becomeavailable. Applications should contain a curriculum vitae, list ofpublications, a document verifying a Ph.D. degree, and 2 references.
