A post-doc position (MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry coupled with 2DHPLC/GPC); 2 years with potential extension) is available at theLaboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry, University of Jena,Germany. Aim of the project is the optimization of separation,preparation and ionization methods of synthetic polymers for MALDITOF-MS(and later ESI-MS), investigation of degradation patterns of copolymersunder MS/MS conditions for better structural elucidation as well as thefurther development of the method by means of hard and software incollaboration with industry partners. If you have finished an academicstudy in chemistry (or related fields) and accomplished a PhD degreewith emphasis on mass spectrometry (preferably additional experiencewith chromatography) proved by publication, please contact Dr. MichaelGottschaldt, Laboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry (IOMC,Lehrstuhl II/Schubert), Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena,Humboldtstr. 10, D-07743 Jena, Germany, +49(0) 3641 9482 47 (Secretary:01), Michael.Gottschaldt@uni-jena.de.
