Description
A two-year postdoctoral position is immediately available for anexperimental breast cancer project at the Department of LaboratoryMedicine at Lund University, Sweden. This Lab is situated at the newClinical Research Centre building (www.med.lu.se/crc). The projectfocuses on the analysis of the role of Wnt-5a in breast cancermetastasis. Based on previous findings in the lab (Clin Cancer Res.,2005; Cancer Res., 2005; J. Biol. Chem., 2006; MCB, 2006) the signalingand functional role of Wnt-5a in mammary cell motility will be explored.A variety of cell-based techniques will be employed. We are looking fora candidate with a background in cell and/or molecular biology. At thisoccasion we will particularly appreciate previous knowledge andexperience in animal tumor models and/or microscopic analysis.
