The University of Miami Department of Dermatology & CutaneousSurgery seeks a highly motivated individual with solid training in cellbiology, molecular biology or animal models of human diseases is soughtto study the molecular mechanisms of hair loss using a mouse model. Musthave hands on experience in basic molecular biology and cell biologytechniques such as subcloning, nucleic acid extraction, PCR, RT-PCR,Western blot analysis and immunostaining. Experience in histology, cellculture, skin biology and animal models is a plus.
Job Requirements: Candidates must have a Ph.D. (in any area ofbiomedical sciences) or M.D., with hands-on experience in basicmolecular biology and cell biology techniques such as subcloning,nucleic acid extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blot analysis andimmunostaining. Must be able to work independently and as a team player.Good communication skills in English are essential. An appropriatecombination of education, certifications, and/or relevant workexperience will be considered.
