Description
We are seeking a motivated recent PhD or MD to employ a chemical geneticapproach in zebrafish, to identify and understand the mechanisms ofsmall molecules that can control the commitment, differentiation, andmaintenance of dopaminergic neurons. These chemicals will subsequentlyalso be applied to cultured stem cells or in vivo animal models ofneurodegeneration. Our lab is located at the UCSF mission bay campus inthe desirable San Francisco, CA, USA. High quality peer-reviewedpublications from prior work are required.
