A Postdoctoral research position is available in The Ohio StateUniversity’s Center for Microbial Interface Biology (CMIB) within theOffice of Health Sciences. The research is focused on the carbohydrateand lipid determinants of the M. tuberculosis cell wall that mediateinteractions with human host cells. Candidates must possess a PhD inBiochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field. Experience in microbialbiochemical techniques and analytic methods, and in biosafety level 3work practices is desired. The laboratory has recently moved into newresearch space, and The Ohio State University represents an emergingleader in host-pathogen studies.
