King’s College London School of Medicine
This is an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher, who would like to develop their scientific skillsin a dynamic research environment.
The appointee will be experienced in cellular and molecular biology aswell as biochemistry and able to plan and carry out experimentsindependently. They should have a solid knowledge and practicalexperience with molecular biology (DNA cloning, sequencing, PCR) andprotein biochemistry (especially protein-protein interactions). Goodbasic computer skills are essential. Experience with nucleicacid-protein interactions and/or yeast-two hybrid assays would beadvantageous. Applicants should also be willing to approach newtechniques, like cardiomyocyte and skeletal muscle cell culture and towork effectively as part of a team in an extremely supportive environment.
Salary will be KCL Grade 6 up to a maximum of £30,012 plus £2,323 LondonAllowance per annum.
