Description
Thomson Scientific is a leading global e-information and solutionscompany serving researchers, librarians, clinicians and otherprofessionals worldwide. By combining authoritative content withinnovative technologies, we offer a broad spectrum of knowledgeresources for the academic and government, corporate, and pharmaceuticalmarkets.
The individual will provide training and technical support service tothe end users of all the SBUs in China RBU, focusing on but not limitedto TS life science and Pharma solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide post-sales support for China customers
• Develop local presentations of TS products especially life science andPharma solutions that align with global messages.
• By introducing and presenting the presentations to the end users,provide training and support service to customers to improve thecustomer usage and create best customer experience.
• Keep update of TS all SBU product training materials and coordinatethe necessary materials for distribution to the customers.
• Provide effective post-sales training session to end user, includingonsite training and webex training or public training etc.
• Keep update of TS Pharma and Corporate solutions and support agenttraining.
• Provide post-sales support of products other than life science andPharma solutions upon request.
• Resolves basic product and technical issues within a defined processand routes more complex technical issues to the appropriate team.

Qualifications
• Master degree or Ph.D. in life science or Chemistry
• More than 2 years working experience
• Knowledge of scholarly communication and intellectual property
• Strong knowledge of needs of researchers/scientists in thepharmaceutical industry
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong project management skills in planning and coordination fortimely delivery.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with both internaland external customers
• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English
• Highly motivated, service-oriented and energetic
