Post Doctoral Research Associate Ref:LS/80276
Salary will be £26,666 – £32,796 per annum
You will join the research team of Professor Andrew Munro, investigatingthe structure, mechanism and biotechnological applications of theflavocytochrome P450 BM3 enzyme, and evolving novel enzyme functionsusing a combination of rational mutagenesis and forced evolution approaches.
You should have (or expect to hold shortly) a relevant PhD, orequivalent. You will bean enthusiastic and highly motivated individualexperienced in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and enzymecharacterisation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to workwell in a group and independently are essential. Additionally,experience in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology or a relateddiscipline is desirable.
Funded by the BBSRC, this position is tenable for up to 3 years.
