Description
A postdoctoral is available from May 2008 to study glycolipidrecognition by T lymphocytes. We plan to study the role of this immuneresponse in cancer, atherosclerosis, infections and autoimmune diseases.To carry out this project we employ a combination ofmolecular/biochemical and cellular strategies.
Postdoc candidates should have a strong background in cellularimmunology and/or biochemistry. The successful candidates willparticipate in well funded program (EEC and SNF) in a friendly and open environment.
Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae with publication list, a 1-2page summary of research accomplishments and future goals with names of2-3 references. Salaries are according to Swiss National Foundationscale (CHF 60.000-80.000/year), and dependent on experience.
