Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for theposition of Postdoctoral Researcher. This position will be for two yearsin the first instance with the School of Chemistry.
The research will focus on chemometric analysis of the crystalline andamorphous forms of pharmaceutical type compounds. A range ofspectroscopic methods and X-ray powder diffraction will be used with theaim of developing rapid methods of analysis of solid forms. Thesuccessful candidate will hold a Ph.D. and will have experience in theuse of chemometric methods of analysis. Candidates with experience inpolymorph analysis are highly desirable.
The research will be carried out under the direction of Professor P.McArdle in collaboration with Dr. A.R. Ryder and Dr. A. Erxleben andforms part of the Solid State Pharmaceutical Cluster, a ScienceFoundation Ireland Strategic Research Cluster.
