The Figeys’s Laboratory which is part of the Ottawa Institute of SystemsBiology and the BMI Department at the University of Ottawa has immediateopenings for Post-doctoral Fellows with expertise in analyticalbiochemistry and technology development and are interested in Proteomicsand Lipidomics. The successful candidate will join our dynamic researchgroup in a recently built and well-equipped facility. Our group researchis focused on the mapping of protein-protein interactions in human andin yeast, the development of novel lipidomics and proteomicstechnologies, and mass spectrometry. The ideal candidate will hold a PhDDegree in Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry and have solid expertisein microfluidics, HPLC, and biological mass spectrometry. Additionaldesirable skills include protein biochemistry and an understanding ofbioinformatics. Applicants should include a brief description of presentresearch activities and the names and contact information for threereferences with their application materials.
