Description
Call for applications for a postdoctoral position: immuneregulation inthe CNS (TV-L equivalent to BATIIa)
A postdoctoral position is currently available at the Clinical ResearchGroup for MS and Neuroimmunology located at the University of Wuerzburg,Department of Neurology. We are looking for a creative and motivatedpostdoc with ambitious career interest and experience in immunology.
The work is related to the fundamental mechanisms of immune regulationin the central nervous system, especially the role of novel coinhibitorymolecules of the B7-family and the interaction of CNS-antigen-presentingrelation with regulatory T cells. Approaches cover experimental animalmodels using conditional transgenes and ablatable systems as well asvarious techniques in human cellular and molecular immunology.
The work is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG as part ofthe Sonderforschungsbereich 581 (Molecular models of nervous system diseases).
