One POSTDOCTORAL position is available immediately in the new foundedPenn Ovarian Cancer Research Center. My laboratory has a major focus onthe cancer genome (microRNA alterations, PNAS 2006, Nature Cell Biol.2008 and PNAS 2008), cancer stem cells as well as tumor immune biologyand therapy (New Eng. J. Med. 2003, Nature Med. 2004) of human ovariancancer. The projects will focus on: 1) miRNA deregulation in humanovarian cancer; 2) somatic and cancer stem cells; and 3) developmentgenetic model for epithelial ovarian cancer. We are seeking candidateswho are self-motivated and career-oriented to join an exciting highlyinteractive research team.

These studies will be carried out in close collaboration with thelaboratory of Dr. George Coukos.
Interested candidates must have a Ph.D and/or MD. or an equivalentdoctoral degree and have less than 3 years postdoctoral experience in arelated field. Applicants with a strong background in molecular biology,cancer biology and stem cell biology are encouraged to apply.
