Located in Manhasset, NY The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research isone of the fastest-growing bio-medical research institutes in thecountry. The institute is a unique, disease-oriented biomedical researchinstitution dedicated to advancing science, shaping medicine and makinga difference in people’s lives. The institute was established in 1999and already is among the top 6 percent of the more than 3,000institutions across the country that receive National Institutes ofHealth (NIH) funding.
A post-doctoral position is available to study the regulation andfunction of COX-2, mPGES1, and PGE2 within normal human B lymphocytesubsets and malignant CLL. High motivation and solid experience in cellculture, flow cytometry, and molecular biology is needed, as is abackground in immunology. For background, see: J. Immunol. 176:6736(2006) and Clin Immunol. 125:117 (2007).
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a PhD Or MD Degree in related area.
