Post-doc Position
Laboratory of Tumor Immunology, Department of Oncology (Director: Professor Dr. med. Alexander Knuth), University Hospital Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland

We offer a postdoctoral fellow/researcher position to a highly motivated scientist with an interest and/or experience in cancer immunology. The laboratory is exploring mechanisms of improving vaccines to treat cancer, especially by discovering new principles to enhance and steer T cell immune responses. The applicant is expected to contribute to the identification of negative immunoregulatory mechanisms associated with cancer and to supervise the monitoring of immune responses in cancer patients that participate in cancer vaccine trials. A close collaboration and exchange with researchers in the lab that focus on the discovery of new principles through mouse-based work may provide a potential for translating discoveries into the clinic by interacting with a clinical trial team in the Department of Oncology.
Applicants must have Ph.D. degree or equivalent and relevant laboratory experience including human T cell immunology, but fewer than 5 years postdoctoral training.
