POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in a NIH funded laboratory studying pathways of skeletal growth and development. Specific areas of interest include transcriptional regulation of chondrocyte gene expression and the regulation of skeletal growth-by-growth factors. Projects utilize transgenic/knockout mouse models, transcription assays, library screening, organ culture and morphological and biochemical analysis of cell growth and differentiation. Candidates must have a PhD and/or MD and a strong background in molecular biology and experience with mouse models is desirable.
