We are Seeking an experienced post doctoral fellow for a 24 months contract to apply for intraEuropean (IEF) or international (IIF) mobility programs, hosted by the University of Milano-Bicocca in Monza, Italy. Our laboratory has a major focus on Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (Coluccia AML, Angelo Vacca, Mireia Dunach, Luca Mologni, Sara Redaelli, Victor H. Bustos, Daniela Benati, Lorenzo A. Pinna & Gambacorti-Passerini C. Bcr-Abl Activates b-catenin by Triggering Its Tyrosine Phosphorylation In Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). EMBO J, 26(5):1456-66) and on structural and basic studies on other oncogenic tyrosine kinases such as ALK and RET (Tartari CJ, Gunby RH, Coluccia AM, Sottocornola R, Cimbro B, Scapozza L, Donella-Deana A, Pinna LA, Gambacorti-Passerini C. Characterization of some molecular mechanisms governing autoactivation of catalytic domain of the anaplastic lymphoma kinase. J Biol Chem. 2008 Feb 15;283(7):3743-50).

Positions are open to highly motivated individuals with excellent degrees in molecular biology/genetics/biochemistry. Candidates should have a doctoral degree, or have at least 4 years full time research experience, who are self-motivated and career-oriented to join an exciting highly interactive research team.
