Job description:
You will be responsible for developing an analytical framework formapping of quantitative trait loci (QTL) from deep (epi)genome analysesand integration of QTL results from transcriptome, proteome, metabolome,epigenome and phenome measurements. You will apply and validate the newtools on data from plants (Arabidopsis) and mammals (mice).
Requirements:
extensive track-record in statistical genetics, quantitative genetics or bioinformatics
pro-active attitude and the ability to initiate and execute researchlines independently
- excellent communication and reporting skills.

Conditions of employment:
The University of Groningen offers a salary dependent on qualificationsand work experience up maximum of € 3678 (scale 10) or € 4284 (scale 11)gross per month for a full-time position. The appointment is for oneyear, with the perspective of prolongation with another two years. Youwill be member of a multidisciplinary project team of senior scientists,postdocs and PhD students and you will have access to state-of-the-artfacilities and equipment.
