Postdoctoral Position (Ref-No. 154/2008)

Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with PhD or equivalent to join our department.

The goal of our department is to characterize familial risk factors of cancer. To this end, we consider environmental and genetic causes including, in particular, familial predisposition and patterns of inheritance using world’s largest database on familial cancer.
The candidate will be involved in the analysis of familial cancer.

Profile:
Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) and an university degree in statics, mathematics, bioinformatics or in a related field and should have some understanding of genetics and biology. Knowledge of SAS programming is an advantage.

The position is limited to 3 years.
