Postdoctoral Researcher Protein Chemistry/Proteomics

Description

You will join a highly research-active proteomics group that has an impressive publication and funding record. You will work on a high profile project, developing the proteomics of assembly and dynamics of the ribosome, in collaboration with the University of Manchester. The project will use QconCAT technology (developed at Liverpool and Manchester) for absolute quantification studies, coupled with dynamic SILAC studies to measure protein turnover rates. You will have a PhD in mass spectrometry, proteomics and protein chemistry or a related subject, preferably supported by a good publication record. The post is funded by BBSRC until 31 May 2011.
