PostDoctoral Position on Biomechanics is available immediately at Center for Lower Extermity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR), Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science (North Chicago) to develop inovative approachs based on body worn sensors (MEMS) technology and biomechanical model of human body for human perfromance analysis and outcome evaluation. The candidate will work with a collaborative team from Scholl’s college of podiatric Medicine and its clinical affiliations.

REQUIREMENTS A recent Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or related fields is required. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills, advance experience in signal processing and algorithm development. Self-motivation, strong initiative, excellent organizational skills, and ability to handle several projects simultaneously, demonstrated ability for independent critical thinking, and ability to work in a collaborative environment are required.

The Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) is located at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine, North Chicago IL. CLEAR consists of a core team of clinicians, engineers, biostatisticians, and epidemiologists who have worked together for some five years. With more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and 30 funded research proposals, CLEAR is amongst the most active groups of its kind in the world.
