Description

This role will focus on the development of applications, reagents and consumables for the cell biology platforms.

This will include hands-on research and the supervision of supporting scientists. You will be responsible for driving product ideas and enhancements from concept through to reality. You will need to be innovative and commercially aware with a PhD (or equivalent) and preferably some post-doctoral experience in molecular cell biology, biochemistry or a related discipline. Expertise insome or all of cell line development, tissue culture optimisation and cellular imaging and analysis would be highly desirable. You will also have proven experience in leading activities including supporting scientists, sharing knowledge and aiding the training and development of other staff. Some domestic and international travel is a requirement of this role. If successful after the first round of screening we will contact you within 5 working days.
