Abcam is a rapidly growing business, specializing in the production and sale of antibodies and related products. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK, Cambridge, USA and Tokyo, Japan.

We are looking for a Hybridoma Scientist to assist in the production of monoclonal antibodies. You will perform all stages of the hybridoma development process, to include fusions, post-fusion cell recovery, colony picking, sub-cloning and all subsequent expansion stages. You will play a significant role in process development work and trouble shooting.

You will have a Biological Science Degree and a strong understanding of monoclonal antibody production techniques. Good aseptic technique and several years experience working with hybridomas in a mammalian cell culture environment are essential. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have good record keeping skills and excellent communication skills.

Practical knowledge of antibody purification and common immunoassay techniques (ELISA, Westerns) would be an advantage.
