A Research Associate is required for a research project awarded by the BBSRC to investigate the control of translation during apoptosis to work with Professor A E Willis and Dr M Bushell.

Candidates must have a BSc or equivalent in biochemistry, cell biology or genetics. Experience in tissue culture and RNA research is essential. Experience in cDNA micro array will be an advantage, however, training will be given. Salary will be £24,152 per annum, pro rata. Hours of work are 9 per week, to be agreed. This post is available from 1 June 2009 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 19 months.
