Description:
A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available with the focus on determining the involvement of muscarinic regulation of the M-channel (KCNQ2/3 channel) in LTP, an excitatory synaptic plasticity implicated in learning and memory. Candidates must demonstrate scientific accomplishment in extracellular field EPSP recording and/or intracellular whole-cell patch clamp recording in hippocampus or other brain region with relevant publications.
