Description:

The Department of Chemistry at North Carolina State University invites outstanding applications for an ACS funded, full time, 12-month position (with a possibility of renewal) of a Postdoctoral Research Associate, under the direction of Dr. Alexander Deiters.
The broad objective of the project is to develop and apply new molecular tools for the
investigation of microRNA function involved in human diseases, especially cancer and viral infection. To be considered, applicants must have a Ph.D. in a biological, chemical, or related discipline. Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques is desired. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, open-minded, and enthusiastic about working in the laboratory with scientists at all levels of training and diverse scientific backgrounds. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
