Postdoctoral Position in Electrophysiology and Biomedical Sciences.
Can you form a tight seal? The dynamic lab of Dr. Andrew Feranchak has a position for a talented patch clamper with a strong, fundamental knowledge of electrophysiology. Studies will focus on the pathways/ion channels involved in hepatobiliary transport and cell volume regulation. This is an opportunity for a talented researcher to expand their skills in the study of epithelial cell biology, ion channel regulation, transepithelial secretion, and imaging analysis. Chance to set-up and customize equipment for electrophysiological measurements. Requirements: PhD or MD, technical skill in whole-cell/single channel recording, and experience in molecular biology/channel cloning and expression.
