Description:

Postdoctoral position available in Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Projects involve the mechanistic understanding of radiation resistance with the long term goal of modulating radiation response for therapeutic advantage. The principle models utilized in the laboratory include glioblastoma and renal carcinoma human cancer cell lines, human tumor tissues and mouse models. Candidates should be highly motivated, have a PhD or MD degree, a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, and tumor biology, and publications in internationally recognized journals. Applicants should be fluent in English and be available for an interview. Experience with mammalian cell culture, viral mediated gene transfer, and analysis of microarray data is preferred.
