1. Provision of medical care within area of expertise in Internal Medicine Department and as internal medicine physician. Will also act as consultant for complicated medical conditions for all specialties in the hospital and support in the ICU as needed. 2. Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients in Internal Medicine Department (including urgent, emergent, and non-urgent presentation) and ICU. 4. Help with medical development programs of internal medicine, such as develop rules, training plans and QI monitoring systems. 5. Select, order and perform tests and procedures to augment physical findings 6. Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential diagnoses with most likely diagnosis indicated. 7. Write orders on physician order sheet for tests, procedures and the implementation and management of therapies in accordance with medical protocols. Write signature on chart based upon institutional policy 8. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care if privileged to do so. Consult as necessary. 9. Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action including blood gases, radiology, ECG, etc., but not limited to these. 10. Participate in education and training including medical and nursing staff. 11. Participate as one of the key leaders lead patients service. 12. Follow bylaws and policy and procedure of Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. 13. Take in house on call as assigned by department chair if needed. 14. Other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer and the Chair of Internal Medicine.
