DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责: 1. Patient Care Delivery 1.1 Ensure all nursing staff (including self) to master both generic and specialty competencies related to own respective clinical area, and fulfill the requirement of annual nursing staff competency requirement; 1.2 Make vital decisions to assist in patient care including case management, treatment and discharge planning, and patient records management. 1.3 Evaluate outcome of patient care delivery based on patients’ feedback and BI result 1.4 Conduct rounding on unit with nursing staff and address patients and families’ concerns if any 1.5 Stand in to provide direct care to patients if the nursing unit is short-staffed  2. Care Quality and Patient Safety 2.1 Ensure nursing staff to undertake measures to maintain a safe environment for patient care 2.2 Develop, plan, execute, and evaluate unit quality and safety program 2.3 Establish unit quality metrics in collaboration with NAO QPS team 2.4 Collect, aggregate, and analyze data of nursing-sensitive indicators 2.5 Lead unit team or facilitate performance improvement teams to improve processes that enhance patient safety 2.6 Submit quality and safety program scorecard/dashboard/report on monthly basis 2.7 Conduct safety event (including patient complaints) analysis;and develop action plans to address safety issues 2.8 Implement safety event action plan and monitor effectiveness 2.9 Respond and act on safety recommendations 2.10Monitor clinical activities to identify both expected and unexpected risks 2.11Establish and maintain a unit risk register; and correct areas of potential risks 2.12Implement an unit audit program  3. Staff Management 3.1 Participate in the recruiting process and decision-making on the selecting of suitable interviewees 3.2 Assign a preceptor and provide support to new nursing staff to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the new working environment 3.3 Set performance goals for current nursing staff in line with hospital and NAO strategic direction and evaluate the performance results according to hospital timeline 3.4 Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance in accordance to performance goals and any extra assignment given to the respective staff 3.5 Provide coaching to staff and resolve staff conflicts to main the team spirit within own unit 3.6 Provide counseling or take disciplinary actions for nursing staff with poor performance 3.7 Create and maintain dynamics and morale among the nursing team by documenting and communicating visions, missions, strategies and implementation of actions 3.8 Lead the nursing team to maintain a cooperative relationship with other health care teams  EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 经验，技能及能力要求： 9.
