Position:
A postdoctoral position in defining the relationship between protein subnuclear localization and transcriptional regulation
Job Description:
A postdoctoral position is available immediately for research defining the relationship between protein subnuclear localization and transcriptional regulation. The focus of the laboratory is to understand where and when the transcription factors that regulate the expression of the anterior pituitary prolactin and growth hormone genes associate in living cells. We are combining molecular biological approaches with live cell imaging approaches to address these questions. The successful candidate will work in state-of-the art facilities and have ready access to a large community of scientists studying cell signaling. The ideal candidate will have a background in molecular biology and cellular imaging, and must qualify for NIH training grant support.
