Postdoctoral positions for molecular and neurobiological studies
Job Description:
We focus on regulatory mechanisms for expression of neuronal proteins triggered by nutrients, hormones and neuronal activity. We investigate chromatin remodeling events, RNA transport and localized translational control in neurons. Various modern technologies based upon molecular, cellular, proteomic and array approaches are used. For recent studies see: Nature Structure and Molecular Biology 14: 68-75 (2007); Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA. 103: 19919-24 (2006); EMBO J. 25, 5094 (2006); EMBO J. 25, 3203 (2006); J. Neuroscience 26: 9743-9 (2006); Mol. Cell 19, 643 (2005); J. Neuros. 25, 3350 (2005); Mol. Cell. Proteom. 4: 300, & 975 (2005). A Ph.D. in biological sciences or biophysics is required.
