Job description: 
A postdoctoral position is available at the Laboratory for Applications of Synchrotron Radiation (LAS), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Campus South. As a part of the Helmholtz-University Young Investigator Group Nanodynamics you will perform experiments at the synchrotron radiation source ANKA, and at other synchrotron facilities like the ESRF and PETRA III. Your responsibilities will also include data analysis and preparation of scientific manuscripts for publication. Therefore strong analytical and writing skills are expected. In addition, you will take an active part in the samples growth and characterization at the UHV Analysis laboratory at ANKA and support the PhD students in the group.

Qualification: 
You have completed your PhD in physics and have gained hands-on experience with X-ray scattering techniques applied to nanostructured samples preferably at large scale facilities. In particular, you are expert in at least one of the following methods: GISAXS, SAXS/WAXS, GID.

Contract duration: 
The position is limited to three years
