The Department of Biological Sciences, State University of New York (SUNY -Albany) seek motivated postdoctoral associates to study molecular properties and functional roles of cardiac ion channels (potassium channels) (see our recent publication in Science Signaling Vol. 4 Issue 176, ra37, 2011 and its Perspective in Science Signaling Vol. 4 Issue 184, pe35, 2011). Applicants must have experiences in patch-clamp or electrophysiological techniques. Preferred candidates will have strong backgrounds in cardiac physiology or single channel recordings.
