Description

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Cell Biology to study the physiological function of neuronal potassium channels or the molecular mechanisms of circadian phototransduction. Projects will employ a variety of approaches including electrophysiology, structure/function analysis, cell biology, imaging and mouse genetics. The position requires strong initiative, good communication skills and a demonstrated record of creativity and independent thinking.

Applicants should have solid training in neurobiology, cell biology, molecular genetics or electrophysiology. The department has a strong presence in molecular neurobiology and provides a highly collaborative atmosphere.
